I founded Humanimalia: a journal of human/animal interface studies in 2007 with Sherryl Vint, and committed moral support by Donna Haraway.  After Sherryl left to head the Science Fiction and Technoculture Studies Program at the University of California – Riverside, I became the journal's managing editor, supported by the editorial board of Jacob Bull (Centre for Gender Research, University of Uppsala, Sweden), Joan Gordon (Nassau Community College, USA), Richard Iveson (Centre for Critical and Cultural Studies at the University of Queensland, Australia), and Karalyn Kendall-Morwick (Washburn University, USA).

Humanimalia is a peer-reviewed, open access journal, housed at DePauw University, accessible at http://www.depauw.edu/site/humanimalia/.
